Commissions and Dog Portraits

I receive a lot of emails asking me if I take make pet portrait commissions, especially of dogs. The good news is that I do! I love drawing your dogs and hearing all about them! Here is a little bit more info:

The cost for an unframed drawing approx. size 17cm x
17cm would be £395 + £10 Royal Mail Special Delivery
postage (UK).

Worldwide shipping varies depending on the country but is usually between £15 and £25. 

The drawing would be a similar style and size to my 'Daily Drawings' which you can find on my instagram and website.
There are also examples at the bottom of this page. The drawing would be made in pencil and ink on thick art card.

If you would prefer a larger piece we would need to discuss exactly what you are looking for. Larger portraits may need to be painted rather than drawn in pencil. I can work up to any size within reason, the largest so far has been 140cm x 140cm and the cost was £5,000. I love variety and as your piece would be completely bespoke, pricing as well as sizing will be unique to individual requirements.

I do have a waiting list of commissions, so when you email we will give you an idea of the timescale. If you're hoping to get something for specific date or occasion please allow as much time as possible - we will do our best to accommodate your needs but this will depend on my other work.

I work from photos and ideally need five or six from different angles, close ups and full body. It's really helpful for me to have photos that give a real sense of the animal's personality so I can capture this in the drawing. In terms of composition, please let me know if you have something in mind (e.g. full body, sitting or close up of face) or alternatively, you may prefer for me to decide what composition I feel would work best.
